Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Mark qualified as a Chartered Accountant at the global financial advisory firm, BDO, where he spent 12 years working with some of Ireland’s most successful businesses. More recently, he led BDO’s client management and sales function as their Head of Business Development for 5 years. Mark is responsible for recruiting senior professionals across a broad range of industries, with a specialism in financial services. Mark has an accomplished track record and brings extensive sector knowledge in agri-business, aviation, healthcare, pharma, real estate & construction, technology and consumer. Mark is passionate about his clients’ success and development. He also partners with other practices within the firm such as Advisory and Pay & Reward to find the best solutions for his clients. Additionally, Mark works as a mentor with a range of institutional bodies including; Technology University Dublin, Rugby Players Ireland, Inner City Enterprise, and Young Professionals Ireland. Mark was also recently appointed as the Ireland Rugby Club Team Manager in 2020. Educated at Terenure College, Mark then gained a BSc. Business & Management at the Dublin Institute of Technology where he also received a First Class Honours in his postgraduate degree in Accountancy. In addition to his ACA qualification, Mark has a Diploma in Corporate Governance and is a member of the Corporate Governance Institute.
