Previously, Mr. Gibbs led the firm's European Industrial Practice building leadership teams and advising on Board-level and Executive Committee positions for companies seeking to sustain market leadership. Prior to joining Korn Ferry in 1996, he worked for KPMG Management Consulting. Before entering the executive search profession, his career included some six years in the Army. He then joined ICI Plc, the FTSE 100 chemicals company. His clients are from a broad range of industrial sectors including Aerospace & Defense, Building Products & Construction, Chemicals, Distribution, Electronics, Engineering, Minerals & Mining, Paper & Packaging, Support Services, Tobacco and Utilities. He specializes in Chairman, Non-Executive Directors, CEO and CFO appointments across the FTSE 100, 250, small cap and AIM as well as privately owned and private equity backed companies.
