Leveraging two decades of business management experience at senior level in- and outside of Japan for Takeda Pharmaceuticals, Mr. Kuroda is responsible for Korn Ferry's talent solutions covering broad job functions in pharmaceuticals, medical device, in-vitro diagnostics and analytical life science segments. Reflecting individual client needs which are all different, Mr. Kuroda shares with clients unique perspectives, key values and ethics of life science industry connected to people's health with which he had got familiar during his hands-on work experience in pharmaceutical company for three decades and seeks to provide the most appropriate forward-looking solutions. Before joining Korn Ferry, he had ten years of track record in executive search in a global executive search firm in wide spectrum of life science industry segment. Prior to joining the executive search industry in 2010, Mr. Kuroda engaged with international business management for Takeda's ethical pharmaceutical business altogether for 28 years which included ten years of business management experience in overseas subsidiary companies. He located in Aachen/Germany, London, Taipei and Beijing being in charge of general management at senior/top level. His last position at Takeda was Head of Asian Operation. He has also hands-on sales experience as medical representative for four years in Kobe. Mr. Kuroda holds bachelor degree in Germanistic from Osaka University of Foreign Studies (currently Osaka University). When Mr. Kuroda is not working, he likes to play tennis on every weekends. In college days, he was qualified for singles in All Japan Championship. He has a long-fostered desire to walk through Camino de Santiago de Compostela in Spain which was stopped by Covid-19 pandemic..
