Biography
Ms. Plemmons brings 20 years of experience in both the US & EMEA to the role. She is responsible for developing strategic relationships with clients, driving differentiated client experiences, and enabling integrated solutions through a dedicated team of experts.
Joy serves as a strategic business consultant to executives, advising organizations throughout the entire talent management cycle. She gains a deep understanding of the organization’s business strategy in order to provide an integrated approach to talent. Areas of focus are: enhancing culture and improving the patient experience; revamping performance management; designing employee well-being programs; diversity, equity & inclusion, and enhancing leadership development and coaching.
Ms. Plemmons joins Korn Ferry from Gallup where she served as Senior Managing Consultant. She was responsible for leading and developing client relationships and ensuring that Gallup’s work supported clients’ goals and strategic priorities. Her work focused on driving sustainable growth and financial performance for her clients.
Ms. Plemmons consulted with some of the world’s leading healthcare providers to achieve continuous improvements. She built client-focused service teams and developed integrated employee and patient interventions that helped her clients improve patient care and business performance.
Before her role as Managing Consultant, Joy served as Director of Client Impact for Gallup’s East Region where her role was to equip consultants to offer the best strategic thinking and advice to ensure their clients’ ongoing success.
Before working at Gallup, Joy worked for the American Heart Association and The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company where she was responsible for business development and revenue growth.
Joy earned her bachelor's degree in political science from Queens University in Charlotte, North Carolina and her MBA from UNC, Kenan-Flagler Business School.
