Kerri Burgess is a member of Spencer Stuart’s Board Practice and Leadership Advisory Services team, specializing in CEO succession planning. She also serves on the Asia Pacific operating committee and leads Spencer Stuart’s Financial Services Practice in the region. Since joining Spencer Stuart in 2001, Kerri has worked with clients on more than 500 CEO, board director and other top leadership searches, as well as leadership succession, assessment, development and transition assignments. Prior to Spencer Stuart, Kerri was with Citigroup in Australia. There, she served as head of strategy and business development, group head of financial institutions and chief of staff for Citigroup's corporate bank. She also was a company-appointed trustee for the Superannuation Fund in Australia. Kerri’s sector expertise includes global banking, consumer, insurance, government, technology and professional services. Her functional expertise includes board and CEO succession, investments, finance, risk, HR and legal. Kerri holds a bachelor of economics and a bachelor of laws from the University of Sydney, and is a member of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. She is a member of Chief Executive Women and serves on the Tennis NSW corporate advisory board.
