Mr. Hesters has worked extensively with senior executives, board members, and investors internationally, supporting their talent management needs across a broad spectrum of areas including Board and C-Suite and recruitment, advisory services, executive assessment/succession and critical, volume-based, recruiting projects. Over the course of his career, Mr. Hesters has developed an expertise in working with sectors marked by complex asset structures and international operating footprints (e.g. oil & gas, renewable energy, forestry/biomass and agribusiness.) Prior to executive search, Mr. Hesters’ corporate experience included Shell Oil/Motiva and Hunt Oil, where he focused in the areas of finance, strategic planning, capital projects and business analytics. Mr. Hesters started his career as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Navy, where he served with distinction in the Middle East, North Africa, Southwest Asia, Latin America and Europe. Mr. Hesters graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in forestry and renewable natural resources, and he holds an MBA in finance from the University of Colorado. He currently serves on the board of several non-profits that focus on education, the environment, and international relations issues.
