He has 15+ years of industry and management consulting experience advising COOs, CROs, CIOs, CISOs, and CDOs. Adu's last role prior to joining Korn Ferry, was Director of Digital Transformation and Governance at Akamai Technologies and previously worked for consulting organizations such as The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Slalom Consulting, Cognizant Business Consulting, and Accenture. His industry experience spans across Biotech, CPG, Financial Service, Healthcare (Payer), Pharmaceutical, Professional Services, and Technology. Adu partners with executives and functional leaders to identify org optimization opportunities and through effective stakeholder engagement and alignment creates delivery roadmaps that enable successful implementation of short- and long-term strategic imperatives. He specializes in organizational effectiveness / change management, pre-deal DD and PMI, development and operationalization of Target Operating Models, formulation, and implementations of comprehensive Digital, IT, Cyber Risk, Data Privacy and Big Data strategies. Adu has led large Agile program delivery, supported the implementation of an Agile CoE, coached client resources on effective development of Epic, User Stories, and management of backlogs. Adu is a Project Management Institute Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP). Adu has lived and worked in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, UK, Indonesia, US; and managed tactical implementation resources in India, Philippines and China. Adu holds an M.S. in Strategic Analytics from Brandeis University, an MBA in Corporate Finance & Strategy from Clark University, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Computer Science from Endicott College. He is a PROSCI Certified Change Management Practitioner, PMI Certified Project Management Professional, PMI Agile Certified Practitioner, ISACA Certified in the Governance of Enterprise Information Technology, Certified Information Security Manager, IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional, and HCI Certified Strategic Workforce Planner. He is fluent in four languages including German; enjoys spending time with his family and friends, travel, soccer, chess, basketball and world affairs.
