Biography
Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Mr. Lamb led the Southwest region for Hay Group’s Leadership and Talent Management practice. He also worked at Hewitt beginning as an executive compensation senior consultant and ultimately led the Talent Practice in Dallas. He started his career in the audit division of Arthur Andersen.
Mr. Lamb creates value for organizations by analyzing business goals and strategies, creating links to leadership performance and developing focused improvement solutions. He is recognized as an expert in the areas of succession, leadership development, and talent strategy.
Mr. Lamb is active in the community and serves on the faculty of Southern Methodist University’s Women in Motion executive education program and is a member of its board of advisors. He also serves on the Junior League of Dallas’ HR Advisory Council and volunteers with a group coaching unemployed individuals.
Mr. Lamb is a frequent speaker and quoted in business publications, his article “Emotional Intelligence: Leadership Rx for Tough Times” was published in HR Matters magazine.
Mr. Lamb earned his master’s of business degree from the Olin School of Business at Washington University and was trained in behavioral coaching by world-renowned executive coach Marshall Goldsmith. Mr. Lamb also graduated cum laude from the University of Missouri, St. Louis, where he received his bachelor of science degree in accounting.
