Austin Krissoff leads True’s Cybersecurity practice. He specializes in executive searches for venture and private equity-backed companies, as well as chief information security officer (CISO) placements. Austin has worked with high-growth cybersecurity companies including Bitsight, Expel, Privitar, Rapid7, Snyk and ThreatConnect. He has led successful CISO searches for enterprise and consumer software companies such as Addepar, GoJek, Spotify, Staples, Twilio and WW, among others. Prior to executive search, Austin worked at a venture-backed cybersecurity startup. He is a former U.S. Marine Captain and served as a human intelligence advisor and platoon commander overseas. Austin holds a master’s degree from Georgetown University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Middlebury College, where he was a varsity swimmer and water polo athlete.
