Armen Simon is a senior member of Spencer Stuart’s global Financial Services Practice and the co-leader of the global Insurance Practice. In this capacity, he partners with clients who are global leaders, predominantly in banking, private equity, reinsurance and insurance, on solving their senior executive talent needs. He also is a member of the Spencer Stuart’s global Board and CEO practices in Europe, where he recruits executive and non-executive board members for leading organizations in Europe and around the globe. Prior to joining the firm, Armen was a managing director at Allianz Group, where he implemented and led the combined insurance and banking corporate marketing and solutions platform for industrial clients. Armen spent most of his early career in banking, beginning at Deutsche Bank. He also worked for 15 years at two major international banks, mainly in London, Paris and New York. He focused on specialized global industries such as utilities, transportation and insurance. Armen graduated with a doctorate in economics and management from the University of London and earned master’s degrees in business administration (Nürnberg and Henley). He is fluent in German, English and French.
