Philiep Dedrijvere is a member of Spencer Stuart’s global Consumer Practice, specializing in consumer products. He brings to the firm years of experience working for global, regional and local consumer goods companies and private equity clients on board and C-level assignments for CEOs, presidents, chief marketing officers and chief corporate affairs officers. He is also an active member of Spencer Stuart’s Corporate Communications business as well as the firm’s Sales Officer, Marketing Officer and Digital practices. Prior to joining Spencer Stuart, Philiep worked at another international executive search firm as a senior client partner in their global consumer practice. In this role, he worked on international executive search assignments for boards, CEOs, presidents and general managers in addition to internal succession assessment programs for CEO, president, chief marketing officer, chief corporate affairs and commercial leadership roles. As co-leader of its global marketing and corporate affairs center of expertise within Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Philiep has also developed extensive experience in leading search and internal succession assessment assignments for clients in the industrial, healthcare, technology, media, financial services, hospitality and retail sectors to find the right chief marketing and chief corporate affairs leaders. Before this, Philiep held a variety of marketing and general management roles for more than two decades at Procter & Gamble (P&G) and Coca-Cola. As managing director at Coca-Cola, he successfully merged the Belgian and Dutch business units. Philiep began his career in brand management at P&G, working on a number of leading brands in haircare, personal care, paper and detergents. Philiep received an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Chicago and a Master’s degree in applied economics from the University of Antwerp. He speaks fluent Dutch, English and French. Philiep is a fellow and elected member of the Belgian American Educational Foundation, the leading independent philanthropy, in support of exchanging university students and scholars between the U.S. and Belgium.
