Alexander joined Amrop in 2004. He was an Associate Partner of a Management Consulting Company before he moved on to Julius Bär, where he became Head of Banking Operations and member of the bank’s Management Committee in Zurich. He co-founded and managed a leading edge start-up in the biometric industry. For a couple of years Alexander was member of the board of a spin-off of the Technical University (ETH) in Zurich. He holds an MBA and a PhD in Economics, both from the University of Göttingen, and completed post graduate studies at the Bologna Center of the Johns Hopkins University. Prior to moving to Switzerland, Alexander lived in Germany and Italy. He enjoys playing the piano and is enthusiastic about the world of history and literature.
