Ben Dewar brings 18 years of search experience leading CxO searches across all functions, with a specialization in G&A roles. At True, Ben leads the People, Talent & Legal practice, focusing on chief people officer and chief legal officer searches. He is also a member of True’s Investment Professional practice, recruiting investors and talent partners to venture and private equity firms. Ben joined True from TalentSky, a venture-backed search technology and services company. Previously, he was a senior search consultant with Russell Reynolds Associates and Chadick Ellig. Prior to his search career, Ben practiced corporate law in New York with Simpson Thacher & Bartlett and with Davis & Gilbert. Ben earned a JD from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy from Vanderbilt University.
