He brings over three decades of strong experience – with the last decade in the executive search with a deep focus on the Automotive, Chemicals and Materials sectors. In addition to leading varied and challenging search assignments at Korn Ferry International, he also co-led consulting projects for talent management, development and related topics. Previously for more than 18 years, he worked with Ciba Specialty Chemicals (erstwhile Ciba-Geigy) in various local, regional and global business roles. The rest of his career spans sectors such as Management Consulting, and Financial Services in companies such as HDFC, A. F. Ferguson & Co, and 20th Century Finance. He has played important roles in functions like sales / business development, regional and global business unit leadership, systems project design and implementation, training and development. Ravindra has rich cross-cultural experiences as he lived and worked in Europe for almost a decade while at Ciba Specialty Chemicals. Ravindra has completed his Bachelors in Commerce / Accounting and a Masters in Management Studies (Finance) from SPJIMR, University of Mumbai. He is also an Associate of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of India for more than three decades. Ravindra is passionate about teaching, training and conducting development programs; and keeps a strong connect with his alma mater and a few business schools in Mumbai and overseas.
