Biography
Alexandra Ettlin partners with companies across a range of industries, with a focus on industrial and natural resources, to identify and develop forward-thinking leaders. Based in Zurich, she has a background in academia and consulting and has worked with leading software and technology companies at the intersection of strategy, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
Previously, Alexandra founded AYA Farmery, a company that designs green spaces and promotes sustainable living and local ecology. In that role, she drove the company’s strategy and innovation processes, building her team and creating B2B offerings. Before that, she was the vice president of St. Gallen Symposium, where she led content and recruited global leaders – from business, government, and civil society – to present at the annual conference.
Alexandra holds BA und MA degrees in business administration, and a Ph.D. in management and strategy, all from the University of St. Gallen. She also completed agricultural studies at Bäuerinnenschule Kloster Fahr (School of Farm Practice and Administration).
