Biography
Suhas Anand is a principal in Heidrick & Struggles’ Dubai office and a member of Heidrick Consulting. He has 14 years of consulting experience focusing predominantly on strategy development, organization effectiveness, and leadership development. Suhas’ client work includes defining the leadership strategy for select oil sector players in Kuwait, designing the corporate center for a Middle Eastern utility, defining the operating model and leading strategy execution for a large national oil company in GCC, reorganizing the holding company in the energy sector of a ME country, workforce planning for a ME aluminum player, and defining the learning and development strategy for a SWF. Suhas currently serves as an advisor to non-profit NGOs in India in the field of education and sustainability.
Additional projects include helping define the fiscal regime for upstream oil & gas assets, helping with post-merger integration of gas producers in GCC, defining the value proposition and equity story for one of the largest global IPOs, kick-starting the renewable and nuclear energy diversification for a GCC country, helping one of the largest Asian banks on their debt recovery transformation leveraging big data, and helping spin off telecom infrastructure into a separate company for a large Indian telecom operator.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Suhas was an associate partner at McKinsey and Company. For more than 13 years, Suhas served corporate and government clients in the Middle East on strategy creation, transitioning into sustainable energy, defining organizational structure and operating model, driving leadership development, and workforce management.
Throughout his career, Suhas has been recognized for helping companies craft competitive strategy, designing best practice organizations, and developing world class leaders. He is particularly knowledgeable about energy transition and value chain, ME energy sector and their linkages to the national economy, and operating model redesign.
