Claire Hwang serves as Partner of DHR International’s Seoul office. With more than 12 years of experience in the executive search field, Claire focuses on the consumer goods & retail, fashion & luxury industries and has completed numerous cross-border searches. Claire has conducted search engagements primarily at the C-level, including CEO, CFO, CMO and board of directors for companies ranging from multinational corporations to high-growth, early-stage organizations. She has been effective at helping corporate clients build strong leadership teams. In this capacity, she is responsible for business development of key clients in consumer goods and retail, professional services, financial services and other industrial companies. Claire possesses a very strong background in research and execution, having spent time with other leading multinational executive search firms including Amrop, Heidrick & Struggles and Odgers Berndtson. Prior to entering the executive search industry, she started her career in the financial services sector as a Fixed Income Derivatives Broker and worked in the consulting industry as a Management Consultant. Claire earned a bachelor’s degree in History from Yonsei University in Seoul, and has conducted career consulting and coaching for Global MBA students of Korea University for many years.
