Biography
Mr. Kirch supports the human resources and finance units of organizations with issues on Return on Reward, particularly personnel cost in view of people productivity and generating profits on employees. He worked for organizations in banking, asset management, insurance, real estate, air traffic control organizations, airports, accountancy and legal firms, and for oil and gas and corporates of international companies in a wide range of other sectors.
Mr. Kirch structured reward distribution issues in partnerships of accountancy firms (Big4), legal firms (top 4) and for physicians in the medical sector.
Mr. Kirch focuses on strategic reward challenges, helping organizations realize their ambitions, whilst engaging their employees. He has wide expertise in designing strategic reward policies, including short and long term incentives schemes and benefit packages.
In his work Mr. Kirch balances the intention of the employer with the interests of employees. He designs performance schemes aligned with company strategy and needs mixed with feasibility and simplicity. Performance and compensation in professional service firms for partners and all employees is amongst his special expertise. Mr. Kirch was director executive reward for Korn Ferry Netherlands for twelve years and partner since 2000.
Mr. Kirch holds a masters of business administration from Groningen University. Previously, he worked for a Tanzanian holding company, was a non-executive director of a bank, was partner of Korn Ferry and member of its company valuation committee, and has lectured on compensation in the Board Academy. He is a chairman of a sailing club.
Mr. Kirch is fluent in Dutch and English, and conversational in German.
