Biography
Kevin is a seasoned technologist with a focus on complex software products and cryptocurrency, who has worked with a variety of clients to address technical challenges in both public and private sectors. He is typically engaged when a review of technology infrastructure, application code, or data architecture is required, and has done so in a variety of commercial, regulatory, and litigation matters. Kevin has also provided expert testimony in US Federal Court and the Singapore International Arbitration Centre regarding computer programming and cryptocurrency functionality. He advises management, regulators and counsel by serving as a "translator" between code, engineers, and executives. Among others, he has lectured at events held by the FBI, American Bar Association, AICPA, American College of Bankruptcy, American Bankruptcy Institute, Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association, ComplianceWeek, and the Bahamas Financial Services Board on the topics of programming and emerging technologies. Prior to AlixPartners, Kevin worked as a cybersecurity principal for IBM where he supported the US Department of Defense and Homeland Security in designing, implementing, and operating cyber systems. He holds Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maryland and Master's in Technology, Management from Georgetown University.
