Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Mr. Kawai worked as a Consultant at Japanese major executive search firm. He has been specializing in the Industrial and Technology markets as well as HR and IT Center of Expertise. Prior to becoming an executive search professional, he worked at Sony where he started his career as an embedded software engineer and architect for consumer products followed by Talent Acquisition and HRBP manager. Mr. Kawai holds a master's degree in System Design and Management from Keio University in Japan, and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Physics from Boston College in United States. He is fluent in Japanese and English.
