Brittany Amaral collaborates with her WittKieffer colleagues in identifying dynamic, difference-making leaders on behalf of hospitals, health systems, academic medical centers, philanthropic and charitable foundations, and other leading organizations. Brittany brings to her role a strong business background, including a master’s degree in business administration from Bryant University. Brittany strives to identify a client’s true needs in its next leaders and to get to know candidates to understand their career backgrounds as well as their professional and personal goals. Prior to joining WittKieffer, Brittany worked in practice management operations for Lifespan Physician Group, located in Providence, Rhode Island, for several years. During her time with the company, she managed operational responsibilities across multiple ambulatory practice sites and specialties with more than 25 full-time employees and about 16 physicians and APPs. Through this role, she developed extensive knowledge of current healthcare policies and procedures, practice management, medical terminology, and medical billing procedures, including insurance authorizations, referrals, and benefits. Brittany also worked for Care New England, located in Providence, Rhode Island, where she monitored care retention through referral tracking to decrease out-of-network referrals for the organization.
