Charles advises companies in whole company turnarounds and business transformations by providing actionable strategic, financial and operational advice to clients. Charles has 15+ years of international business experience with a focus on creating and implementing transformation and restructuring plans, assisting management with business plan development and stakeholder management in critical situations across a range of industries. He has successfully led whole company turnarounds under different restructuring regimes. He was formerly a portfolio manager at Mount Street Portfolio Advisers responsible for handling the negotiation and management of the lender’s forbearance agreements for non-performing credit portfolios which entailed taking on interim positions in the United States and Germany. Prior to that he was a director at EAA (WestLB’s bad bank). After university, he initially joined KPMG’s Financial Services practice and qualified as a chartered accountant before moving to their restructuring team. He is fluent in English and German and has a good working knowledge of French.
