João Oliveira Santos is a Senior Principal at Odgers Berndtson. Experienced in human capital management consulting and with a law training background, João develops independently since July 2019, consulting in human capital and labour law. Previously, he worked as a Director at PwC, PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he led and was responsible for the People & Organisation unit in Portugal and Angola. Between 2001 to 2015, he had the opportunity as Senior Manager to lead and develop projects at Hay Group / Korn Ferry in Portugal. Throughout his career, João has provided services and developed consulting projects and approaches with particular emphasis on Compensation and Benefits, Performance Appraisal Systems, Leadership and Culture for organizations in several industries in Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, Spain, Italy, Mozambique and Portugal, with a particular focus on the Financial, Oil & Gas sector. He has a degree in Law from Lisbon University Lusíada and practised law from 1994 to 2001, specialising within labour issue.
