Marta Fernandez is a member of the firm’s Financial Services Sector, where she specializes in global banking, real estate and board-level recruitment. With a background in business management and strategy consulting within the banking industry, Marta brings deep insight and market knowledge to clients of all sizes and geographies. She partners with executive teams to recruit and assess top talent in senior financial, operational and board roles. Marta is based in Madrid. Marta joined Russell Reynolds Associates from another global recruitment firm, where she was a Consultant in their FSI & Banking Industry practice. In this role, she worked with clients on recruiting banking and financial talent ranging from intermediate to managing director roles. Previously, Marta spent several years with Banesto/Banco Santander as a Business Manager, working on strategy, portfolio management and attracting new business. She began her career as an Interactive Media Planner with Inteligencia YMedia. Marta holds a BA in business administration from the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid, and has studied in Buenos Aires and Amsterdam. She speaks fluent English and Spanish.
