Biography
Gonzalo's expertise comprises of 20+ years in diverse HR consulting experience, with an emphasis in the areas of employee engagement, culture diagnostic, design and implementation of culture change/integration programmes. His involvement in restructuration processes focuses on overcoming the obstacles of incompatible cultures, potential low productivity and the inability to manage and implement change.
He supports clients in managing organisational change by helping them to define their integration philosophy (formulation of a new mission, vision and values & behaviour statements), process and timelines, optimising the effect of communications, mapping cultural differences, aligning HR policies, securing resources (avoiding the loss of key talent), helping to identify and resolving organisational issues at the outset and defining rewards strategies.
Prior to taking up his current post at Korn Ferry (London) as Principal Client Director in the areas of organisational strategy, assessment and succession, talent acquisition, leadership development, rewards and benefits, he has worked in similar roles for other consultancy firms, research and higher education institutions, also focusing his activities upon long-term EU national economic development projects linked to employment and international trade, making full use of his market analysis expertise and previous experience as special adviser on European policy affairs and external funds in the United Kingdom.
Gonzalo earned his PhD, MPhil and MBA from the Bradford University School of Management (UK). He did his undergraduate studies (Business Administration) in the University of Lima (Peru).
