Biography
Cody Burke, senior associate, has a wealth of experience in executive search and talent acquisition, working closely with clients to identify leadership candidates ideally suited for their strategic needs. Cody brings an energy and enthusiasm to executive recruiting, making him an ideal collaborator with his colleagues on search engagements in academic medicine and the health sciences. He strives to get to know leadership candidates deeply and understand what drives their career ambitions and what types of organizations fit their values and personalities.
Prior to joining WittKieffer, Cody held the position of Talent Acquisition Consultant, Executive Search, within the Office of Human Resources at The Ohio State University. In this role, Cody executed the full range of executive recruitment phases for leadership searches, with a primary focus on associate vice president-level roles and above. He also developed talent acquisition and candidate identification strategies that included in-depth market research and peer benchmarking, both locally and nationally. Cody was a close partner with both search committees and outside search consultants in this position. Previously, he was a Recruiting Manager with a small boutique firm, where he focused on both retained and contingent permanent searches. He served private and publicly traded clients across various industries.
