Brogan graduated from Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand with a LLB/BCom in 2014 and is a New Zealand qualified lawyer. She worked at an executive search firm in Auckland focusing on senior legal roles before relocating to London in September 2016 when she joined Taylor Root.
