Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Mr. Rivers spent nearly five years with another leading global executive search firm, culminating as a principal in the Professional Services & Technology practices. He spent the early years of his career with a boutique executive search firm where he gained his first exposure to Fortune 500 and venture capital clientele. He has spent over a decade recruiting top talent for Fortune 500, venture capital and private equity-backed organizations, focusing on C-level, Vice President and Partner searches in the North American and Global geographies. He has successfully placed executives into technology and services firms, with industry exposure across financial services & insurance, retail/CPG, distribution, travel & transportation, life sciences & healthcare, and manufacturing. Mr. Rivers earned his bachelor of arts degree in english from Bucknell University, and his masters of business administration from the John F. Welch College of Business at Sacred Heart University.
